Bremerton Housing Authority is a public, local government agency that provides affordable housing to the Kitsap area as well as providing services throughout the nation as a consultant to other affordable housing agencies and as a Federal Contractor for HUD. The Position

We’re looking to fill the Housing Assistant I position with someone who has excellent customer service which puts customers first, and someone who has great accuracy. This person will have a talent of building positive relationships. This position is the first tier of a two-tiered position which contributes to the overall effectiveness of the Housing Programs by providing customer service and clerical assistance at the front desk for potential and existing clients, and other visitors to BHA. The position reviews submitted documents for completeness and provides administrative support for the Housing Staff.

Required Education and Experience

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): 

Experience: 2 plus years of experience in Customer Service with face to face contact.

Computer Skills: Experienced user of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
